Mark Sutherlin, Senior Minister

Mark Sutherlin began ministry with DaySpring in September of 1995. Being at DaySpring has been an incredible journey and has brought great joy to him. Mark was born in Illinois, but had stints in Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, Ohio, Missouri, and Arizona. Mark has been married to his wife, Karen for 24 years (filled with life, love and laughter). They have three sons, Zane, who attends Ozark Christian and is preaching and experiencing youth ministry in Missouri, Zach who graduated from Fort Collins High School and enlisted with the Wyoming Army National Guard and will attend the University of Wyoming and Jake who attends Liberty Common School participating in soccer and basketball. Some of Mark’s favorite things in life are fly fishing, listening to music, watching a GOOD movie (with popcorn), and savoring time with family and friends.

Joe Taylor, Worship Minister

Joe has been attending DaySpring since moving to Fort Collins with his family in 1995. He met his beautiful wife, Kara, at DaySpring and they were married in the church in 1999. Joe began leading worship at DaySpring in 2002, and is humbled by how God has grown and blessed the body here. Joe has a heart for worshiping the Lord in life, and in music, and truly believes that worship is a lifestyle. He has been richly blessed with a loving wife, Kara, and two awesome kids, Jayden and Kylie.

Karen Sutherlin, Office Director

Karen Sutherlin is the office manager for DaySpring. She has served in this capacity for 10 years. She also worked as the Children’s Director for the past ten years until Kendra Moseley took over in 2009. Karen graduated from Oklahoma State. She married Mark in 1987 and they have 3 wonderful, incredible sons; Zane, Zach and Jake. Karen has traveled extensively across the United States camping, hiking and enjoying the beauty of creation. She still loves to hike, snow ski, read and spend time with family. She enjoys a good Chai now and then…mostly now.

Kendra Moseley, Children's Director

Kendra has always had a heart for Children’s Ministry and has been attending DaySpring Christian Church since 2000. Her involvement in Children’s Ministry began when she started teaching Wee Worship and working in the nursery. Since then she has taught different children’s Sunday school and Wednesday night classes. In 2003 she joined the Children’s Ministry Committee and became the Children’s Ministry Director in 2009. She is married to Dave and has two beautiful children, Julia and Shane.
