Prayer Ministry

"My House shall be called a house of prayer..." Matthew 21:13

The purpose of this ministry to help expose the body to as many opportunities of prayer as possible, while recognizing that each individual member should be devoted to private and personal prayer on an ongoing basis. We are encouraged in scripture to pray together as a body. The Lord's Prayer says, "Our Father, give us this day..."

DaySpring's common thread of ministry is prayer. Whether Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry, Adult Ministry, Missions, Outreach...our goal is bath EVERYTHING in prayer.

Sunday Night Prayer

The fourth Sunday night of every month, the church gathers to simply pray. Different topics, issues, needs and ministry are covered by our prayer times. The children have their own special time called KidsPray.

Elder Prayer

The elders meet on the 3rd Wednesday night of the month to pray for the needs of the body, families and individuals, our missionaries, issues of life and a host of other concerns.

Men's & Women's Prayer Time

The men of DaySpring meet on the 2nd Wednesday night of the month at 7:30 p.m. to pray.

A women's prayer time meets on Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m. to pray.

Youth Ministry

The junior high and senior high have prayer times on Wednesday nights and during discipleship groups that meet on Sunday nights.
